As an artist I work and live in Darmstadt near Frankfurt since 1979. 

My interior design studies brought me there. Here I came into contact with the teachings of the Bauhaus from composition, color theory to rhythm and contrasts. 

Johannes Itten inspired me there, both in terms of color and as a person. The musical Paul Klee introduced me to rhythm and structure. My then professor Economou paid attention to clarity in design. Alfred Nungesser's Symphony of the Big City is a book that has accompanied me my entire artistic life. 

Among the exemplary women in my art are first and foremost the Berlin Dadaist and collage artist Hannah Höch and the Michelstadt artist Rebecca Horn. 

All these role models flow today into my lessons, which I conduct in my studio and in the painting studio of the Hessian State Museum in Darmstadt.  

My artistic techniques oscillate from acrylic painting to collages to pyrography. Ultimately, all techniques unite again and again in content ideas.

Als Künstlerin arbeite und lebe ich seit 1979 in Darmstadt bei Frankfurt. 

Mein Innenarchitektur-Studium brachte mich dort hin. Hier kam ich in Kontakt mit den Lehren des Bauhauses von Komposition, Farbenlehre über Rhythmus und Kontraste. 

Farblich und menschlich begeistert hat mich dort Johannes Itten. Der musikalische Paul Klee brachte mir den Rhythmus und Struktur nahe. Auf Klarheit in der Gestaltung achtete mein damaliger Professor Economou. Alfred Nungessers Symphonie der Großstadt ist ein Buch, das mich mein ganzes Künsterinnenleben begleitet. 

Zu den vorbildhaften Frauen in meiner Kunst gehören allen voran die Berliner Dadaistin und Collage-Künstlerin Hannah Höch und die Michelstädter Künstlerin Rebecca Horn. 

Alle diese Vorbilder fließen heute in meinen Unterricht mit ein, den ich in meinem Atelier und im Malstudio des Hessischen Landesmuseums in Darmstadt durchführe.  

Meine künstlerischen Techniken pendelt von Acrylmalerei über Collagen zur Pyrografie. Letztendlich vereinen sich alle Techniken immer wieder in inhaltlichen Ideen.
