Hi I'm Andy Assmann and in 2018 I gave up my permanent government job as a forester to enrich fellow human beings with my creativity. I did not want to let go of the fascinating device "the chainsaw" and was looking for a new and meaningful challenge to be able to use it. Thereby I discovered the vocation in the creation of solid wood sculptures in me. 

This I could present well and combine with my passion for travel. In countries like Austria, Hungary, Denmark, England and Canada BC I was allowed to prove my skills.  

My philosophy consists of old massive tree trunks, 

which were once full of life, after their death to revive and this for eternity. Completely under the motto "Wood coming alive". From portraits to comics, everything has been created as a customer order or own design in the noise of the chainsaw. My favorite subjects are horses and wild animals in their proud posture. 

My works already got in the German Bundestag and also at Otto Walkes in Hamburg a place.

Hi Ich bin Andy Assmann und hab im Jahre 2018 meine staatliche Festanstellung als Forstmeister aufgegeben, um die Mitmenschen mit meiner Kreativität zu bereichern. Ich wollte das faszinierende Gerät “die Motorsäge” nicht mehr loslassen und suchte nach einer neuen und sinnvollen Herausforderung um diese nutzen zu können. Dabei habe ich die Berufung in der Erstellung von Massiven Holzskulpturen in mir entdeckt. 

Dies konnte ich gut präsentieren und mit meiner Reiseleidenschaft verbinden. In Ländern wie Österreich, Ungarn, Dänemark, England und Canada BC durfte ich meine Fähigkeiten unter Beweis stellen.  

Meine Philosophie besteht darin alte Massive Baumstämme, 

die mal voller Leben waren, nach ihrem absterben wieder zu beleben und dies für die Ewigkeit. Ganz unter dem Motto „Wood coming alive“. Von Portrait bis Comic ist schon alles als Kundenauftrag oder eigener Entwurf im Lärm der Motorsäge entstanden. Am liebsten werden Pferde sowie Wildtiere in ihrer stolzen Haltung dargestellt. 

Meine Werke bekamen schon im deutschen Bundestag und auch bei Otto Walkes in Hamburg einen Platz.
