Marco Caputo aka Blackcap is an illustrator and graphic designer born in Lecce in 1990. After graduating in graphic arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce, he finishes his studies with a specialisation in illustration at ISIA in Urbino.

From now on he collaborates with the Italian publishing industry, creating drawings for Einaudi, Logos, Corriere della Sera and Feltrinelli.

The passion for music, especially for "Black Music", has always influenced his artistic research and has led him to the creation of various album covers for internationally known singers, such as Jovanotti (Universal Music), Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) Beach Boii, Fight Clvb, Flex Up Records and many more.

He currently lives and works in Frankfurt.

Marco Caputo aka Blackcap ist ein Illustrator und Grafikdesigner, der 1990 in Lecce geboren wurde. Nach dem Abschluss seines Studiums in Grafik an der Kunstakademie in Lecce schließt er sein Studium mit dem Fachstudium Illustration an der ISIA in Urbino ab.

Ab sofort arbeitet er mit dem italienischen Verlagswesen zusammen und erstellt Zeichnungen für Einaudi, Logos, Corriere della Sera und Feltrinelli.

Die Leidenschaft für die Musik, insbesondere für die "Black Music", hat stets seine künstlerische Forschung beeinflusst und hat ihn zu der Erstellung von verschiedenen Alben-Covers für internationale bekannte Sänger geführt, wie Jovanotti (Universal Music), Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) Beach Boii, Fight Clvb, Flex Up Records und viele mehr.

Derzeit lebt und arbeitet er in Frankfurt.
