Jonas Heinzel is a musician and artist from Frankfurt. 

After discovering guitar playing for himself at the age of 8, he later switched to bass and the microphone. Since 11 years he plays in the Epic Melodic Death Metalband DARKEST HORIZON. With this band he has played national and international stages, released several albums and is now working on further conceptual releases.  In addition, Heinzel is active in the writing craft. So far he has written two volumes of poetry, the first of which was published at the age of 15.

Furthermore, he is currently working on his debut novel as part of a larger project. In addition to his involvement with DARKEST HORIZON, Heinzel is also a solo artist under the MACHIAVELLI and enjoys collaborating freely with a wide variety of artists and art forms.

His personal passion lies in the creation of large, mostly fantasy, worlds, which he fills out and presents in musical, written and performing form.

Jonas Heinzel ist ein Frankfurter Musiker und Künstler. 

Nachdem er mit 8 Jahren das Gitarrenspiel für sich entdeckt hat, wechselte er später zum Bass und an das Mikrofon. Seit nun 11 Jahren spielt er in der Epic Melodic Death Metalband DARKEST HORIZON. Mit dieser hat er nationale wie internationale Bühnen bespielt, mehrere Alben veröffentlicht und arbeitet nun an weiteren konzeptuellen Veröffentlichungen.  Zudem betätigt Heinzel sich im schreiberischen Handwerk. So schrieb er bisher zwei Gedichtbände, von denen die erste Veröffentlichung mit 15 Jahren in die Deutschen Nationalbibliothek aufgenommen wurde.

Desweiteren arbeitet er momentan im Rahmen eines größeren Projekts an seinem Debütroman. Neben seinem Engagement bei DARKEST HORIZON ist Heinzel auch als Solokünstler unter dem MACHIAVELLI tätig und arbeitet gerne frei mit den verschiedensten Künstlern und Kunstformen zusammen.

Seine persönliche Leidenschaft liegt in der Erschaffung großer, meist in der Fantasy behafteten, Welten, die er musikalisch, schriftlich und in darstellender Form ausfüllen und darbieten will.
