My name is Kerstin and I take photographs. Born in Frankfurt, grew up in the countryside near Hanau, it finally took me to the "big" city in 2018. For about 3 years I live in the beautiful Ostend in Frankfurt.  

In the 3 years, the city has been good to me, sometimes against me. In quiet moments and in loud moments, then when there was great chaos or all was completely clear- my camera was always by my side.  And so I went off again and again and photographed the city in all its facets. Depending on how you feel at the moment, Frankfurt looks different every day.   

But today I don't want to focus only on cityphotography. I love to discover new spots outside of Frankfurt, to see new things - to feel free in photography. I need variety, want to create moments, express different emotions.  

Since 2020 my passion for portrait photography was awakened. I enjoy working with other people and implementing joint projects and ideas. What I love most of all? Pulling the trigger at the moment when the model or the customer is not expecting it. This is how the most beautiful snapshots are created.

Mein Name ist Kerstin und ich fotografiere. In Frankfurt geboren, auf dem Land in der Nähe von Hanau aufgewachsen, verschlug es mich letztendlich 2018 in die „große“ Stadt. Seit ca. 3 Jahren wohne ich im wunderschönen Ostend in Frankfurt.  

In den 3 Jahren war die Stadt gut zu mir, manchmal gegen mich. In leisen Momenten und in lauten Momenten, dann wenn großes Chaos herrschte oder alle komplett klar war- meine Kamera war immer an meiner Seite.  Und somit zog ich immer wieder los und fotografierte die Stadt in all ihren Facetten. Je nachdem, wie man sich gerade fühlt, sieht Frankfurt jeden Tag anders aus.   

Heute möchte ich mich aber nicht nur auf die Cityphotography fokussieren. Ich liebe es auch außerhalb von Frankfurt neue Spots zu entdecken, Neues zu sehen – sich in der Fotografie frei zu fühlen. Ich brauche Abwechslung, möchte Momente schaffen, verschiedene Emotionen ausdrücken.  

Seit 2020 wurde meine Leidenschaft zur Portraitfotografie geweckt. Mir macht es Spaß mit anderen Leuten zusammenzuarbeiten und gemeinsame Projekte und Ideen umzusetzen. Was ich ganz besonders liebe? In dem Moment abzudrücken, wenn das Model bzw. der Kunde nicht damit rechnet. So entstehen die schönsten Momentaufnahmen.
