The synthesis of purist and informal style becomes more figurative in the following years and more plastic through the mix of painting, collage, structural play and graffiti.  

The next evolution follows with impressive portraits of women, often famous Hollywood divas of the past, incorporating all the previous means of design. 

The works can be found in 2018 and 2019 at the Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt and Cologne, as well as at numerous local exhibitions in the Rhine-Main region. But these positions are also crossed by curiosity and experimentation, the current works become more abstract and deliberately imperfect. The leitmotif of restlessness, the need for ever new impulses, for change and transformation, also generates new metamorphoses and material mixes here.   

Mari Arp, now Marion Sulzmann, is simply Mari to most of her friends. In combination with her birth name Arp, this has become her synonym under which she exhibits.

Die Synthese aus puristischem und informellem Stil wird in den Folgejahren figurativer und durch den Mix von Malerei, Collage, Strukturspiel und Graffiti plastischer.  

Es folgt die nächste Weiterentwicklung mit eindrucksvollen Frauenportraits, oft bekannter Hollywood-Diven der Vergangenheit, in die alle bisherigen Gestaltungsmittel mit einfließen. 

Die Werke finden sich in den Jahren 2018 und 2019 auf der Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt und Köln sowie bei zahlreichen lokalen Ausstellungen in der Rhein-Main-Region. Aber auch diese Positionen werden gekreuzt von Neugier und Experimentierfreudigkeit, die aktuellen Arbeiten werden abstrakter und bewusst unperfekter. Das Leitmotiv der Unruhe, das Bedürfnis nach immer wieder neuen Impulsen, nach Wechsel und Wandel, erzeugt auch hier neue Metamorphosen und Materialmixe.   

Mari Arp, heute Marion Sulzmann, ist für die meisten ihrer Freunde einfach Mari. In Kombination mit ihrem Geburtsnamen Arp, ist dies zu ihrem Synonym geworden, unter dem sie ausstellt.
