The love for photography began when I was 16 years old. I quickly realized that it was black and white photography that fascinated and inspired me more. Black and white photography has always been with me, then (30 years ago now) as well as now.  

As Ted Grant used to say: "When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls!"  

After training as a master photographer, I established myself in color fashion and fashion photography. However, portrait photography as well as product photography have also accompanied me for more than two decades now.    

I see photography as an art, to capture a moment that triggers so many emotions and so much fascination in the viewer of the image. That is my goal, that is what I want to achieve with every image.   

Interacting with people and implementing creative ideas together is the inspiration for new projects for me.

Die Liebe zur Fotografie begann mit meinem 16 Lebensjahr. Schnell merkte ich, dass es die Schwarzweißfotografie war, welche mich mehr faszinierte und inspirierte. Seit jeher begleitet mich die Schwarzweißfotografie, damals (vor mittlerweile 30 Jahren) wie auch heute.

Nach meiner Ausbildung zum Fotografenmeister etablierte ich mich in der farbigen Fashion- und Modefotografie. Doch auch die Portraitaufnahmen sowie die Produktfotografie begleiteten mich nun schon seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte.    

Ich sehe die Fotografie als Kunst, einen Moment einzufangen, der so viele Emotionen und so viel Faszination beim Betrachter des Bildes auslöst. Das ist mein Ziel, das ist was ich mit jedem Bild erreichen möchte.   

Der Umgang mit Menschen und das gemeinsame Umsetzen von kreativen Ideen ist für mich die Inspiration für neue Projekte.
